As the government closest to the people, New Trier Township serves its residents in numerous ways. We are here to serve our residents from basic services such as acting as a passport application center and assisting taxpayers with property tax appeals to providing crisis intervention social work services and employment counseling. A Brief Overview of the Fiscal 2008 Budget The largest portion of our budget is allocated to social service providers who serve our youth, seniors, individuals and families in crisis, and persons with disabilities. By collaborating with these service providers we most effectively use tax dollars to meet our state mandate to provide needed services for our residents.
