Getting to and from your destination just got a bit easier with the help of New Trier Township. As part of our commitment to improving accessibility and mobility for senior's age 65 and older and persons with disabilities, eligible participants may apply at the New Trier Township Office for transit services.

Dial-A-Ride is a door-to-door taxi service that provides registered riders with discounted fares. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, residents call a designated taxi service and make a reservation for their trip. To pay the reduced fare, riders simply show their card.

Participants are required to prove eligibility and must apply in person at the New Trier Township office located at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

To verify for eligibility as a senior, you must present proof of age and residency (driver's license, state ID, RTA travel card). For eligibility as a person with a disability, you may present either a SSI or SSDI award letter, or the certification of a physician..
