                        |  Trustee Alan Goldberg, Ph.D. nttinfo@ameritech.net 847-446-8202 Alan Goldberg, a resident of Wilmette for more than 40 years and the parent of two daughters, one of whom has cerebral palsy, has been involved with the advocacy arm of the disability movement for several years. He has served as chairman of the Illinois Council on Development Disabilities, finance chair of the Illinois Interagency Council on Early Intervention, president of United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois, Special Assistant to the Director of the Office of Special Education Programs of The United States Department of Education as well as on the staff of The President's Committee on Excellence in Special Education. Dr. Goldberg began his work with the Township as a volunteer on the Advisory Committee on Disabilities and served as its chair before being elected a Trustee. He was re-elected to a second term in 2009. He serves as the Trustee Liaison to the Township's Money Follows The Person Advisory Committee. Back to Elected Officials |
