JoAnn Shrier Gordon took office in January 2006. A resident of Glencoe since 1996, she is a retired vice president and counsel of First Chicago and Bank One (now part of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.). A real estate attorney since 1980, she has lectured on many real estate topics over the years. She just completed her term as a board member of the New Trier High School Fine Arts Association, during which she was the parent liaison for the New Trier student orchestras and participated in planning and putting on the annual New Trier Jazz Festival. She is a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer, having completed the course requirements for certification in 2004.
