                        |  Clerk Jerome Hoynes nttjerome@ameritech.net 847-446-8202 Jerome Hoynes, a high school social studies teacher, was elected Township Clerk in 2009. He began his public service as a college student when he was appointed and then elected as an Alderman on the Eureka, Illinois, City Council. Professionally, he is an active participant in the Illinois & National Education Association and the Illinois & National Council for the Social Studies. Teaching with a strong educational focus on local issues and international affairs, he was honored as the 2007 BridgeBuilder, an award recognizing "excellence in enlarging and enriching the boundaries of students' minds, lives and spirits by bringing students into contact with people and views different than their own." Clerk Hoynes has proudly called New Trier Township "home" for most of his life. Back to Elected Officials |
