The New Trier Citizens League is seeking interested residents to serve on the New Trier Township Board of Trustees. These individuals serve a four-year term during which time they meet monthly during the period September through June. Cook County Board of Review Property Assessment Appeals Open September 14th
New Trier Township property owners have the opportunity to appeal the 2015 assessed value of their property. Even those who have already appealed their assessment to the Cook County Assessor have the right to appeal again at the Cook County Board of Review. The appeals process begins Monday, September 14 and closes Tuesday, October 13. Reductions in assessed value received this year will first be reflected on the 2016 second installment bills, payable August, 2016.

Township Issues Call for Funding Applications
Applications for social service agency grants are currently being accepted for New Trier Township’s 2016-17 fiscal year, which begins March 1, 2016. To be eligible for funding, an agency must be a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, provide direct services to Township residents, have at least one full time staff person or the equivalent, and be fully accountable to Township funding committees.
