In recent weeks, there has been a dramatic increase in inquiries about paying Cook County property taxes early. Re-Review of Board of Appeals Decisions December 4-6, 2017 Appeals to PTAB May Now Be Filed
The Cook County Board of Review (BOR) has mailed its decisions regarding the 2017 New Trier assessment appeals it received. New Trier property owners who filed timely assessment appeals with the BOR, i.e., on or before September 26, 2017, who are dissatisfied with the BOR’s decision may file a Request for Re-Review in the period from December 4 to December 6. You may also appeal BOR decision to the Illinois Property Tax Appeals Board (PTAB), 30-days after written decision.
