"Property Tax Survival 101" Seminars at New Trier Township
Confused about when you can appeal your real estate taxes? Did the County Assessor fail to include all of your exemptions on your tax bill? Did you miss the time to appeal your last assessment? You may still have time to pursue an appeal and to get your exemptions. Property Tax Seminars will be held on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00 pm and will be repeated on Saturday, November 19, at 10:00 am. Both free sessions will take place at the Township office, 739 Elm St. in Winnetka.

Text-A-Tip- Usage Report at 6-Months
Over six months have passed since the public launch of Text-A-Tip in New Trier Township on March 14, 2016. The last update report generated during the summer months showed diminished usage. As school resumed during late August/early September, a slight uptick in system usage occurred, taking our grand total to 97 clients that generated 1,027 texts for the period covering 3/14/16—9/30/16.

Many individuals with disabilities are cared for in their homes by family members. For several years New Trier Township has provided Community Support Grants designed to help defray the extreme cost and many unusual expenses associated with in-home care. Bernie's Book Bank Collection Surpasses Goal
The residents of New Trier Township donated 3,350 books to the Township's Books for ALL Children summer collection drive. We are grateful to all that donated and our supporters who helped us promote the event. Bernie's will distribute these books to at-risk children in the next week.
