New Trier Township Annual Meeting Set for April 18, 2017

New Trier Township Clerk Jerome Hoynes announced that the Annual Town Meeting for New Trier Township would take place Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Township office located at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments served, and the Town Meeting program begins at 7:30 p.m.  Click here for 2017 Annual Town Meeting Agenda

Clerk Hoynes added, "This year our Social Services Administrator Jeanne Winsted Rosser will be the keynote speaker. Jeanne will discuss her role as the Township Social Services Administrator, sharing information about the type of programs we offer. Officials will also present service awards to individuals that exemplify the spirit of community."

The Township’s Annual Meeting is an opportunity for community members to meet and interact with their elected officials. Annual Township meetings are required during April by Illinois law, and have been a tradition since Township Government was established in 1850.
