The Funding Process
New Trier Township awards grants to non-profit agencies that provide services to New Trier Township residents. Applications are reviewed through a formal funding process driven by an advisory committee, made up of volunteers from the community, who carefully review all applications to make sure that they meet the Township's criteria for funding of grant applicants. Following the review process, the advisory committee makes recommendations to the Supervisor and Board of Trustees.
The public is invited, and encouraged to attend the hearings. To view a complete list of scheduled FY2013 hearings for the social services agencies and the programs for which they are requesting Township funding, click here.
