The Township relies on donations from individuals, businesses, houses of worship, and community groups to keep the shelves of our Township Pantry well stocked. No donation is too small and all are appreciated.
Our Food Pantry Wish List provides a full list of needed items and donation guidelines. We ask that you kindly check product expiration dates before making a donation. If you would like to make a donation to The Pantry, please call Brian Leverenz the Township Community Services Administrator at 847-446-8203. Donations may be dropped off any weekday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Township office.
For those who would prefer to make a cash donation, there is the Angel Fund. The Angel Fund is utilized by eligible residents in need to provide emergency assistance to pay for food, shelter, utilities, clothing, medical care and other necessities. The Township annually provides gift cards to income eligible students in the Township to assist with the purchase of Back-To-School supplies.
The Angel Fund is supported solely by donations from private citizens and organizations. 100% of the donated funds are used to assist those in need. There are no administrative costs. The Angel Fund is a registered 501(C)3 organization. Your donation is tax deductible. Make a donation using this convenient form.
