Ms. Eisenberg emphasizes pro bono service, volunteering legal services with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the National Immigrant Justice Center, Equip for Equality and working directly with children through the Girl Scouts and Constitutional Rights Foundation. She currently chairs the Young Lawyers Group of the Jewish United Fund and the Legislative and Amicus Curiae Committees of the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, and is active in her daughter’s preschool and her faith community. She is passionate about fighting prematurity and captains a March of Dimes team.
Education
Gail graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern Law where she studied local government under Dawn Clark Netsch. During Law School, Gail interned for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, the United States Attorney’s Office, and the Hon. Joan Humphrey Lefkow and represented clients in immigration proceedings through the school’s legal clinic. Gail received her BA/MA in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign through Jim Nowlan’s Civic Leadership Program. There she was active in student government, diversion of juvenile defenders and diversity initiatives.
