Every client who comes to the food pantry gets a bag of paper goods containing a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper and a box of Kleenex or package of napkins. We distribute 50 to 60 of these bags a week to pantry clients so there is always a need for donations of paper goods. Volunteers can buy paper goods and pack bags for us. You buy the paper goods and we supply the bags and can show you how to pack them. You can do this at the Township or on your own and then we can give you an educational tour of the pantry and its operations as well as a general discussion of the nature of need on the North Shore. Our suggestion is that you commit to making 50 to 100 bags by purchasing the paper goods from Costco. Bag packing and pantry tours can be scheduled for almost any time.
